Chicken Vegetable Drumsticks: Iftar Special Recipe

ISLAMABAD: Enhance your Iftar experience with Chicken Vegetable Drumsticks, a delicious and quick snack. Elevate your Ramzan meals with these crispy delights. Here’s how to make them:

Ingredients:

2 cups boiled and shredded chicken

1/2 kg boiled and mashed potatoes

1 cup chopped capsicum

1 cup chopped carrots

1 cup chopped onions

1 tbsp red chilli flakes

1 tsp crushed black pepper

1 tsp salt (or to taste)

1 tbsp lemon juice

2 tsp red chilli powder

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp mustard paste

3-4 beaten eggs (for coating)

Bread crumbs, as needed

Ice cream sticks, as needed

Water, for soaking

Oil, for frying

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the chicken, potatoes, capsicum, carrots, onions, green chillies, red chilli flakes, black pepper, salt, red chilli powder, soy sauce, lemon juice, and mustard paste. Mix thoroughly.

Soak the ice cream sticks in water for 10-15 minutes.

Mold the chicken-vegetable mixture onto the soaked ice cream sticks.

Coat the drumsticks in beaten eggs and then in bread crumbs.

Fry the Chicken Vegetable Drumsticks until the colour turns golden brown.

Serve and enjoy your flavourful Chicken Vegetable Drumsticks.
