ISLAMABAD: The second day of Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated across Pakistan with religious zeal and fervour as the festivities continued on the 2nd day of Eid on Thursday.
People visited their relatives and recreational places, including parks across the country to enjoy Eid celebrations with their families.
In the capital city, Islamabad, citizens visited parks and other picnic places to enjoy pleasant weather after rain reduced the temperature.
Recreational spots like Lake View Park, Rose and Jasmine Garden, Pakistan Monument, F-9 Park, Ayub National Park and other small parks attracted a large number of visitors.
A large number of people thronged Lake View Park to celebrate the 2nd day of Eid and enjoyed with their family and friends.
With its spacious location at the shores of Rawal Dam, Lake View Park attracted more visitors than any other public park or picnic spot in the twin cities.
Although there are several other attractions in the federal capital for the residents such as the Japanese Park, the Zoo and the entire track up to Pir Sohawa. However, Lake View Park has all the facilities available in one spot, making it the most attractive place for visitors.
Thousands of visitors, including families and groups of youngsters thronged the Lake View Park. Visitors also enjoyed boat rides in Lake View Park.
Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of Muslims which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, is being celebrated across Pakistan with due solemnity and religious fervour.
