BAHAWALPUR: The Applied Psychology Department at Islamia University Bahawalpur organized a seminar to raise awareness about mental health and the dangers of smoking.
The seminar was part of a campaign to raise awareness among students at IUB about the steps that should be taken for healthcare.
Addressing the seminar, Nafees Akhtar, Head of the Applied Psychology Department at IUB Bahawalnagar Campus, and Dr. Rafaqat Ali, Director of IUB Bahawalnagar Campus, emphasized the need to raise awareness among youth and asked them to pay attention to health.
They said that it was time to tell our youth that smoking is dangerous to their health, particularly mental health.
Painting Exhibition Raises Awareness About Mental Health
On this occasion, a painting exhibition was also arranged to raise awareness about mental health.
The artists highlighted the hazardous impacts of smoking on human health and gave a message to the people to avoid it.
