WASHINGTON: There is no evidence that former US President Donald Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social about having played football with American football star O.J. Simpson.
A screenshot of a purported Truth Social post with Donald Trump’s account handle surfaced online hours after an announcement on April 11 that Simpson, who was acquitted in 1995 of murdering his ex-wife, had died at age seventy-six the day before following a battle with cancer.
The screenshot reads that great O J Simpson used to play football with me. Not many people know that because I do not like to boast. One post, on Facebook said that what is wrong with this guy?

However, no post on Donald Trump’s Truth Social profile, contains the text in the screenshot. An archive the former president’s account, saved on April 12 also did not show such a post. So, there is no evidence that Donald Trump posted on Truth Social about playing football with O.J. Simpson.
