ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) spokesperson announced on Thursday that all unregistered wholesalers, retailers, dealers, and shopkeepers are required to register by April 30, 2024, under the Trader Friendly Scheme.
The spokesperson clarified that those who are already registered shopkeepers do not need to re-register for the scheme. The scheme is accessible to all retailers, including Tier-1 retailers, according to a statement issued by the FBR.
Under the scheme, income tax paid in monthly electricity bills can be adjusted at the time of payment.
