LOS ANGELES: Oliver Hudson, brother of actress Kate Hudson, has shared his experience with cheating and infidelity during an episode of their podcast, Sibling Revelry.
During the podcast, Oliver discussed about the psychological turmoil he faced leading up to his engagement, confessing, “When I got engaged, something happened psychologically, and I spiraled, and I was unfaithful, and I was cheating, and I was crazy.”
Although he admitted to not being caught in the act, Oliver disclosed that he chose to come clean to his partner because he couldn’t bear the weight of his actions while contemplating marriage and starting a family.
Reflecting on his behavior, Oliver acknowledged the role his mother played in the situation, attributing some of his struggles to familial dynamics.
Despite his actions, Oliver emphasized that he considers himself a “good man” and insisted that his intentions were not malicious. He stressed the importance of examining the entirety of a relationship rather than focusing solely on one’s transgressions.
Oliver expressed gratitude for the opportunity to address his issues through therapy and communication with his partner, acknowledging that the experience ultimately contributed to his personal growth.
Oliver expressed remorse for causing pain but admitted that he does not regret the experience entirely, as it played a significant role in shaping his character and fostering introspection.
