LONDON: Malala Yousafzai, recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, is slated to make a guest appearance in the upcoming second season of ‘We Are Lady Parts,’ a musical comedy centered around an all-female punk rock ensemble.

Inspired by the personal encounters of creator Nida Manzoor and the vibrant tapestry of cultural communities and artists in London, the series delves into the narrative of Lady Parts, a Muslim punk band. Lead guitarist Amina Hussain, portrayed by Anjana Vasan, embodies the essence of a studious yet spirited individual, while Sarah Kameela Impey embodies the role of Saira, the band’s dynamic frontwoman.

Scheduled for release on May 30, the second season promises an immersive viewing experience, with all episodes accessible for streaming on Peacock in the United States and Channel 4 in the UK. This strategic release aims to facilitate seamless binge-watching for eager fans.
