Pakistan Army Martyred Soldiers Laid to Rest with Military Honours: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Two soldiers of the Pakistan Army, who embraced martyrdom during intelligence-based operation (IBO) against terrorists in Buner district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa earlier a day earlier, were laid to rest in their native towns with full military honours, the military’s media affairs wing said in a press release on Sunday.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two brave soldiers Lance Havildar Mudassar Mehmood (age-36 yrs; resident of district Rawalpindi) and Lance Naik Haseeb Javed (age-27 yrs; resident of district Poonch, Azad Jammu and Kashmir), having fought gallantly, sacrificed their lives and embraced Shahadat.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), senior officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army, local people and police officials participated in the funeral prayers of the martyrs.

“These sacrifices of our martyrs strengthen our determination in the war against terrorism and our love for motherland,” read the ISPR statement.

Armed forces of Pakistan will continue to fight alongside the nation until the end of the last terrorist from the country, stated ISPR.
