ISLAMABAD: Pakistani nation observed Eid ul Fitr on Wednesday with prayers and solidarity messages for the Palestinian people of Gaza, who have endured months of conflict and devastation at the hands of Israeli forces.

The occasion, which marks the end of the month-long fasting period of Ramadan, was solemnly celebrated across the country as millions of Muslims offered prayers and exchanged greetings. However, amidst the festivities, thoughts and prayers were directed towards those suffering in Gaza.

According to reports, at least 33,360 Palestinians have been killed during the six-month-long Israeli bombardment, with thousands more feared dead or missing. Despite ongoing ceasefire talks, the Palestinian resistance group Hamas has stated that the proposed terms do not meet their demands for freedom.

He also called for solidarity with oppressed Palestinians and Kashmiris, praying for their ease and well-being.
