Pakistan to Play ODI, T20I Series Against New Zealand Next March

LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team is slated to embark on a journey to New Zealand in March 2025 for a white-ball series encompassing three ODIs and five T20Is, after the conclusion of the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan.

This decision was solidified during a meeting held at the PCB headquarters in Gaddafi Stadium between Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi and CEO of New Zealand Cricket (NZC) Scott Weenink. Expressing gratitude for New Zealand’s forthcoming tour to Pakistan, Naqvi emphasized the paramount importance of ensuring fool-proof security measures for the visiting squad.

Personally, overseeing the security arrangements, Naqvi reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the safety and well-being of the New Zealand team and officials.

Warm Welcome to New Zealand Team

Weenink reciprocated the sentiments, acknowledging the warm welcome extended by PCB and affirming the adequacy of security provisions in Rawalpindi and Lahore. Additionally, he assured that New Zealand would honor their commitment to participate in the tri-nation series preceding the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy.
