Pakistanis Shine at Qatar Squash Championship

DOHA: Two squash players —Ahmed Ali Naz and Abdullah Zaman — exhibited Pakistan’s shining potential during the Qatar Junior Squash Championship which ended in Doha, local media reported on Saturday.

Pakistan’s Ahmed Ali Naz and Abdullah Zaman secured silver medals following losing in the finals. On the other hand, Rayyan Zaman lost in the semis of the U11 event, local media reported.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association said in a statement that they are delighted to share that three of their most talented players from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa boys have made a mark in the Qatar Junior Squash Championship in Doha.

Abdullah Zaman performed exceptionally well in the Boys Under-15 age category and secured the silver medal. His skills and techniques also left the audience spellbound, and he proved to be a formidable rival for his competitors.

Ahmed Ali Naz, in the Boys Under-11 age category, proved his skills and emerged victorious. His quickness, and on-court approaches were very impressive, and he also displayed great sportsmanship in the tournament.
