RAWALPINDI: As Pakistan marks its 76th Independence Day, the Armed Forces have extended their heartfelt congratulations to the nation, saying this day serves as a reminder of the vision, resilience, and numerous sacrifices made by our ancestors for the country.
“The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), Chiefs of Pak-Army, Navy and Pakistan Airforce, of Pakistan have facilitated entire nation on the 76th Independence Day,” read the statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), media wing of the armed forces.
Remembering Ancestors’ Sacrifices on Independence Day
Independence Day serves as a reminder of our ancestors’ vision, resilience, and numerous sacrifices to realize the dream of a free and independent country. as envisioned by our esteemed elders and the great Quaid. The press release further read that thousands of people have sacrificed their lives in defense of the motherland, upholding the cherished dream of freedom passed down by our forefathers.
“Let us collectively pledge that regardless of the challenges we confront today, we shall safeguard and enhance peace, societal harmony, and unity within the nation. We remain resolute against hostile elements that seek to sow discord and division among the Armed Forces and the people of Pakistan,” the statement read.
The Armed Forces of Pakistan, bolstered by the nation’s unwavering support, are steadfast in their commitment to uphold the territorial integrity and peace of the homeland. They will continue to serve the nation in alignment with the aspirations of the Pakistani people, InshaAllah (God willing), the statement concluded.
