PIE, Education Ministry Unveil Non-formal Education Report

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE), in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and the JICA-AQAL Project, issued the Non-Formal Education Statistics Report 2021-22 here Wednesday.

This report is an important step forward in ongoing efforts to improve access, quality and equity in non-formal education (NFE) across Pakistan.

To commemorate the publication of this ground-breaking report, an official launch event is scheduled on April 4, 2024 (Thursday) from 4:30 PM to 6:00 p.m. at AIOU VC Secretariat Auditorium, Islamabad.

The Federal Minister of Education and Vocational Training will be the guest of honour for the event. This gathering will include representatives from government organizations, aid organizations, international and national non-governmental organizations, academics, statisticians, civil society organizations and private educational institutions.

PIE Executive Director Dr. Shahid Soraya said that the findings of the Non-Formal Education Statistics Report reflect the collaborative effort of stakeholders across the country. —APP
