ISLAMABAD: President Peshawar Press Club, and senior journalist Arshad Aziz Malik has lauded the role and contribution of WE News in digital sphere at national and international level. He expressed these remarks during his visit to WE News head office, Islamabad on Wednesday.
He said that We News is a leading international digital media platform and attracting a large number of audiences due to its high level of professionalism and authenticity. He hoped that We News would play a more positive role to empower citizens across the world with the help of their authentic and objective reporting as no one can deny the significance of news and information in current digital world.
On the occasion, he was also given a round of the office facility and briefed him about the WE News. Arshad Aziz Malik showed keen interest in the working of the office and its various sections including newsroom, social media and production. He appreciated the operations of the WE News and its rise at local and international levels in such a short span of time. He also interacted with the staff of We News and appreciated their professionalism and work environment.
Arshad Aziz Malik also discussed the various aspects of journalism and new trends in the field of media during his visit. He emphasized that more and more opportunities should be provided to the journalists to compete with the new trends in media and technology. He said that no one can deny the role of tradition media but today is the age of digital media and no society can present their point of view without equipping themselves with the latest technology and digital media.
