Ramadan Charity Helps Poor People in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD:  As Pakistan has achieved a new milestone and elected the new government in the South Asian country, now, people are making preparation for the upcoming holy month of Ramdan. In his holy, month people are trying to focus on their religious and societal obligations. Living up to their reputation generous people of Pakistan are also donating freely in this Ramadan.

In this  connnection, a prominent non-profit organization, Allah Wala Trust has announced the commencement of a significant Ramzan gift program, starting from today. The initiative aims to provide support to 14,000 families of starving children attending government primary schools in Islamabad.

The office bearers of the organization said that it will distribute monthly ration packages to these families, ensuring access to essential food items during the holy month of Ramdan.

“Ensuring the well-being of children, especially during the sacred month of Ramzan, is a fundamental responsibility,” a spokesperson of the organization said. The provision of monthly ration packages not only meets the immediate nutritional needs of the children but also relieves the financial strain on their families, enabling them to allocate resources to other essential requirements.

The spokesperson added that they firmly believed that access to nutritious food was a basic human right, particularly for children. It added that by extending a helping hand to these families, they are upholding their dignity and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

The school meals program is slated to expand in the forthcoming months and weeks, with plans to extend support to more families in need across Islamabad.
