Saudi University Signs Deal with Scottish University to Boost Cooperation

RIYADH: Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University of Saudi Arabia has signed an agreement to boost cooperation with the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

According to the SPA the deal was signed this week during the Going Global 2023 conference in Edinburgh.

Under the agreement both universities will focus on educational collaboration, joint research ventures, academic cooperation, student exchange programs and arranging faculty visits.

Dr. Inas bint Suleiman Al-Issa, president of Princess Nourah University in her views said the program aimed to enhance cooperation between the two universities in various fields.

During her presentation, titled “Engaging Employers with Students and the Curriculum,” Al-Issa highlighted some of the projects adopted by Princess Nourah University that are designed to foster creativity and innovation.

The Going Global conference, organized by the British Council in 2004, provides a platform for education leaders from around the world to interact, exchange knowledge and build networks.
