ISLAMABAD: United States Ambassador Donald Blome called on Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday to discuss a wide range of bilateral matters, including US support for economic reforms in Pakistan.
Both discussed regional security, the potential for growth in the sectors of investment and trade, and the enduring significance of the US-Pakistan Green Alliance framework.
Ambassador Blome conveyed the US commitment to working with the government and people of Pakistan, highlighting that prosperity and security for Pakistan remain a top priority for the United States.
Pakistan-US Relations
Pakistan and the United States have long-standing relations spanning over seven decades. Both countries have a history of political, economic, and security relations and people-to-people contacts.
