KARACHI: The 22nd death anniversary of renowned stage and television actor Latif Kapadia is being observed today (on Friday).
Born on March 27, 1934, Kapadia commenced his career as a stage actor and subsequently transitioned to working in Pakistan Television (PTV) dramas.
Among his notable works in television are ‘Qissa Sotay Jagtay Ka’, ‘Ek Din Ka Sultan’, ‘Baarish’, ‘Fifty Fifty’, ‘Nadan Nadia’, and ‘Shikast-e-Arzoo’, which garnered him widespread acclaim. Additionally, Kapadia appeared in numerous films throughout his career.
In recognition of his contributions, he was honored with the prestigious Pride of Performance Award in 2001. Latif Kapadia passed away on March 29, 2002, in Karachi.
