COLOGNY: World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab did not say that humans who deny to embrace Artificial Intelligence will become extinct. Reuters reported that Klaus Schwab at the 2024 World Governments Summit discussed regulating AI in his opening remarks to the summit. The founder also discussed technology and future challenges in this regard.

Klaus Schwab warned that there is need of an “ethical framework” to utilize Artificial Intelligence for the positive purposes.

However, several platforms of social media claimed that Schwab said that humans who deny to merge with Artificial Intelligence will become extinct. Several social media users expressed concern over the remarks and termed it very alarming.

In a statement, the spokesperson for the WEF rejected the claim and termed it fake. The spokesperson said that Klaus Schwab only emphasized the significance of embracing technological advancements like AI during his speech at the 2024 World Governments Summit.

Reuters reported that there was no evidence regarding Klaus Schwab’s remarks at Summit. The WEF also termed the claim as false.
