RIYADH: A FIFA delegation has arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as part of an inspection trip of the preparations prior to the KSA’s hosting of the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup. According to the Saudi Press Agency the visit aimed to evaluate stadiums designated to host the tournament, which is scheduled to take place from December 12 to December 22.

The delegation visited the King Fahd International Stadium, the King Saud University Stadium and Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium while also witnessed training centers in Riyadh.
The trip is part of a series to examine sport and tournament facilities ahead of the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup.
Secretary-general of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation Ibrahim Al-Kassim said that expressed the Saudi federation’s enthusiasm to cooperate with FIFA to arrange a memorable tournament in the country.
