DOHA: The First Lady of Uzbekistan, Ziroatkhon Hoshimova has visited the Museum of Islamic Art and the National Museum of Qatar, going on guided trips of the permanent collections and current exhibitions, local media reported on Thursday.
At the National Museum of Qatar, she was warmly received by director Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Hamad al-Thani, who accompanied her on the visit, providing a commentary on the museum and galleries as well.
First Lady of Uzbekistan Visits Qatar
At the the Museum of Islamic Art, the first lady was welcomed by Qatar Museums acting CEO Mohamed Saad al-Rumaihi, who also accompanied her on the trip with the Museum of Islamic Art guide Wafa al-Jufairi.
Earlier, on Wednesday Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, head of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and chief of the Education Above All Foundation, held a meeting with Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the World Innovation Summit for Education 2023.
During the interaction, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest related to cultural cooperation and education.
