ISLAMABAD: Security Agencies in Pakistan have unearthed a disturbing plot  by the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, with ties to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), to orchestrate attacks against Pakistan from Afghan soil.

The presence of key figures, including Hafiz Gul Bahadur himself, underscores the gravity of the threat.

What’s particularly alarming is the invocation of Afghan Supreme Leader Sheikh Haibatullah’s name, indicating a coordinated effort to use Afghan territory as a launching pad for attacks on Pakistan. Despite claims to the contrary by the Afghan Interim Government, this video exposes the reality of foreign terrorists operating freely within Afghanistan’s borders.

The Afghan government must unequivocally denounce these actions and take decisive measures against the perpetrators. Whether the terrorists are acting independently or under the guise of Afghan authority, swift action is imperative to prevent further escalation.

Reports circulating in the media about planned attacks on Pakistani posts from Afghan territory further highlight the urgency of the situation. The Afghan government must promptly address these concerns and demonstrate its commitment to regional stability by dismantling terrorist networks operating within its borders.

Pakistan remains resolute in its stance against terrorism and stands prepared to respond decisively to any threat to its sovereignty. Any hostile actions will be met with a robust and unwavering response, underscoring Pakistan’s determination to safeguard its citizens and borders.

The intercepted conversations among terrorists paint a chilling picture of their sinister intentions and operational plans targeting Pakistan. Shockingly, they invoke the name of Afghan Supreme Leader Sheikh Haibatullah, indicating a coordinated effort with elements within Afghanistan.

The focus of the planned attack is from Khost Province in Afghanistan, where Hafiz Gul Bahadur and his group maintain a stronghold. This revelation underscores the urgent need for heightened vigilance and cooperation between Pakistani and Afghan authorities to thwart terrorist activities originating from Afghan territory.

The inclusion of a suicide bomber in the plot underscores the grave threat posed by these militants. Their brazen exploitation of Afghan soil for launching attacks against Pakistan demands swift and decisive action from the Afghan government to dismantle terrorist networks operating within its borders.

Pakistan remains committed to combating terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of its citizens. The international community must support efforts to address the root causes of extremism and prevent terrorists from exploiting regional dynamics to destabilize peace and security.
