ISLAMABAD: Iran soccer team have clinched victory against Qatar with a resounding 6-1 win in an electrifying match during the 1st Sami final of the 12th UAE Ambassador Cup 2024 trophy tournament. The match was played on Friday at the UAE embassy grounds in Islamabad, featured amazing displays along with exciting gameplay.
UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem AlZaabi, along with Ambassador of Morocco Mohamed Karmoune, presented the award to Roohullah for his outstanding contribution to the team’s success in the match.
In the second Sami final match of the tournament, PTCL dominated the match and won against the defending champion UAE with 1-0. In addition to offering football fans an exciting platform, the 12th UAE Ambassador Cup 2024 tournament promoted friendship and sportsmanship among participating nations.
The final match of the 12th UAE Ambassador Cup 2024 will be played on Sunday between Iran and PTCL at the UAE embassy grounds in Islamabad.
