Islamabad Vows to Bring to Justice Perpetrators of Bisham Attack

ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan’s foreign office spokesperson has expressed solidarity with China and said that perpetrators of Bisham terrorist attack will be brought to justice. In her weekly briefing, FO spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan and China are in touch to work together. She said that attackers of Bisham terrorist attack are the enemies of Pak-Chiba friendship. She reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms.

Baloch assured that the government is actively working with China to ensure the security of Chinese nationals in Pakistan. She emphasized Pakistan’s dedication to conducting a thorough investigation into the Bisham attack and implementing necessary security measures.

Highlighting the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China, Baloch emphasized the strong bond between the two countries, pledging Pakistan’s united stance with China against any threats to their friendship.

Moreover, she condemned Israeli aggression in Gaza and reiterated Pakistan’s support for the Palestinian cause based on UN resolutions.

Responding to a question regarding, Pakistan’s ties with Afghanistan, Baloch said that Commerce Secretary Khurram Agha visited Kabul to discuss trade, bilateral relations, and regional peace with Afghan authorities. She affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting trade and enhancing relations with Afghanistan, emphasizing efforts to address obstacles faced by transporters and traders at border crossing points.

Regarding the Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project, Baloch clarified that the work on the pipeline has not commenced yet.  Baloch condemned the illegal allocation of contracts for lithium reserves in Occupied Kashmir, asserting that Kashmiris should not be deprived of their natural resources. She reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for Kashmir and its people’s right to self-determination.
