Martyred Sepoy Laid to Rest with Military Honours: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Sepoy Noman Farid of the Pakistan Army, who embraced martyrdom while thwarting terrorist attack on Pakistan Navy Base was laid to rest in his native town Muzaffargarh with full military honours, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Nauman Farid (24) had embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack on Pakistan Navy Base PNS Sadiq in Turbat on the night between March 25th and 26th.

The funeral prayer of the martyr was attended by senior officers of the Pakistan Army, youth, family members, relatives, and locals, the ISPR said.

Earlier on Tuesday, his Funeral prayer was offered at Headquarters Frontier Corps, Balochistan, Turbat, attended by officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army.

The Armed Forces of Pakistan remain resolute and committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all costs. These sacrifices of our martyrs strengthen our resolve against terrorism and our love for the motherland, said ISPR.
