ISLAMABAD: Famous television and film actor Mehboob Alam is being remembered on the occasion of his 76th birthday today (on Thursday).
Born on March 14, 1948, Mehboob Alam gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Chaudhry Hashmat Ali in the Pakistan Television drama series “Waris.” Additionally, he graced the screens in notable productions such as the PTV dramas “Andhera Ujala” (1984-1985) and “Neelay Hath” in 1989.
Throughout his career, Mehboob Alam showcased his versatility by starring in 38 movies, comprising 12 Urdu, 15 Punjabi, and 11 Sindhi films.
He passed away on March 18, 1994, in Karachi, at the young age of 46. —APP
