ISLAMABAD: Mini pita bites are perfect for gatherings, snacks, or appetizers.
Ingredients
Pita Bread:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Water, as needed
- Oil, for greasing
Creamy Chicken Mixture:
- 1 kg boneless chicken, cut into chunks
- 2 tbsp chili sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp red chilli flakes
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
- 1 cup dairy cream
Instructions:
- Combine flour, yeast, salt, sugar, and water in a bowl, kneading until a smooth dough forms. Allow it to rest until it is twice in size.
- Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll each portion into flat circles.
- Use a round cutter to cut the dough into small circles.
- Preheat a griddle and grease it with oil. Place the dough circles on the griddle and cook each side for 2-3 minutes over low heat until they puff up. Your Pita Bread is now ready.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chicken. Cook until the chicken changes colour, then add soy sauce and chilli sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Add red chilli flakes, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, garlic powder, paprika powder, and salt.
- Stir in Sriracha sauce and dairy cream, mixing well until the creamy chicken mixture is ready.
- Serve the creamy chicken mixture on top of the prepared Pita Bites and enjoy your Creamy Chicken Pita Bites.
