LAHORE: After the injury concerns to Azam Khan at the initial stage, wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Irfan Khan would also not be able to play the remaining two matches against the Kiwis in the Pakistan vs New Zealand T20I series, due to injury issues.

This was announced by the PCB after the Medical Panel of the board received the Radiology reports of Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Irfan Khan on Tuesday advising both players to rest for a few days.

As per the details, the decision was taken after examining the reports and sharing them in consultation with the Pakistan team management. Both the player would work on their rehabilitation with the PCB Medical Panel at NCA.

Injury Concerns to Pakistan Players

A couple of days before, wicketkeeper batter Azam Khan was ruled out of the T20 series against the Kiwis after experiencing discomfort in his right calf during a practice session.

It is worth noting that both the teams have won one match each after the first game was washed out by rain in Rawalpindi last week.

The fourth and fifth match of the series will be played at Gaddafi Stadium on 25, and 27th April, respectively.
