Pakistan-Turkiye to Enhance Bilateral Trade to $5 Billion

ISLAMABAD: Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Mehmet Pacaci called on Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan to discuss bilateral ties and congratulate him on his new role.

During the meeting, Dr. Pacaci stressed the significance of enhancing connectivity between Pakistan and Turkiye to achieve their economic targets, including increasing bilateral trade to 5 billion dollars, a goal set by the leaders of both nations.

Pakistan-Turkiye Relations 

Minister Jam Kamal Khan echoed the sentiment, underlining the historical relations and the growing ties across various sectors such as political, defense, economic, cultural, and education.

He also lauded the recent inking of a Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) and expressed hope about further expanding trade relations through additional Memorandums of Understanding in the near future in the commerce field.
