RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed a terrorist and injured another during an exchange of fire that occurred between security forces and terrorists in southwest Balochistan, a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated on Saturday.
The terrorists attempted to stop passenger vehicles traveling on Sanjavi Road in the Harnai district. Security forces promptly and effectively engaged the terrorists that left one terrorist dead and another injured as result, read the statement.
The swift response by the security forces thwarted the malicious intentions of the terrorists, thereby safeguarding innocent lives. A sanitization operation is currently underway to eradicate any remaining terrorists in the area.
The security forces of Pakistan, in alignment with the nation, remain determined in their efforts to counter attempts aimed at disrupting the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan.
