ISLAMABAD: Several Pakistani drama celebrities, including Sanam Jung and Aadi Adeal Amjad, have turned down invitations to attend the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, hosted by India’s richest family, the Ambanis.
Sanam Jung, in response to inquiries, cited her overwhelming commitments to ongoing projects as the reason for her inability to attend the event. Similarly, Aadi Adeal Amjad took to Instagram to express his regrets to the Ambani family, attributing his absence to his packed schedule and professional obligations, particularly his involvement in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.
While Amjad conveyed his sincere apologies, he also injected a touch of his trademark humor by promising attendance at future wedding functions, albeit with a hint of ambiguity regarding the sincerity of his statement.
Notably, Amjad, known for his comedic commentary on various events, including opulent displays of wealth, hinted at the grandiosity of the Ambani pre-wedding celebrations in India.
The pre-wedding festivities, hosted by Reliance Industries Chairman and MD Mukesh Ambani and his family in Jamnagar, Gujarat, garnered significant attention, drawing global stardom and making headlines worldwide.
