Pakistan’s Foreign Exchange Reserves Settle at US$ 13,427.6m: SBP

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) witnessed an increase of US$ 4 million to settle at US$ 8,021.9 million as of March 22, according to SBP.

According to the data released by the SBP, total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 13,427.6 million including US$ 5,405.7 million in reserves held by commercial banks of the country. 

“During the week closed on 22-Mar, 2024, the reserves held by the central bank went up by US$ 4 million to settle at US$ 8,021.9 million.

Meanwhile, for the earlier week, which ended March 15, 2024, the central bank’s total liquid foreign reserves were recorded at US$ 13,390.7 million including US$ 5,372.8 million reserved held by the commercial banks of the country.
