Pakistan’s Government Committed to Facilitate Hajj Pilgrims: Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the government was fully committed to providing maximum support and facilitation for the pilgrims to make the sacred religious event successful.

The fiance minister said this while chairing a meeting on Hajj Policy-2023 here on Saturday, where Religious Affairs Minister Mufti Abdul Shakoor and other dignitaries were also present.

During the meeting, it was informed that over 179,000 Pakistanis were expected to perform Hajj in 2023.

Minister for Religious Affairs informed finance minister Ishaq Dar about certain matters related to foreign exchange and requested his support.

Maximum support for Hajj pilgrims

Finance Minister stated, “Hajj is a sacred religious obligation for every Muslim, and we all have to play our role for the blessings of Almighty Allah.”

The minister committed to extending maximum support and cooperation in facilitating the Hajjis to make the religious event successful. Minister for Religious Affairs thanked the finance minister for their cooperation and support.
