RAWALPINDI: A meeting concerning drug use in educational institutions took place at Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Headquarters which was chaired by Director General (DG) ANF, Maj Gen, Abdul Moeed, HI (M).
Senior officers from federal and provincial ministries of education and regulatory institutions participated in the meeting.
All stakeholders reached a consensus on initiating a national-level campaign to address the issue of drug abuse. Additionally, the meeting delved into the recommendations put forth by the Higher Education Commission for the effective implementation of the Tobacco Policy 2021.
DG ANF pledged full cooperation to all institutions involved in ensuring the success of the campaign. The ANF top officials asked parents and teachers to cooperation to defeat anti-society elements.
