Saudi Crown Prince, Venezuelan President Discuss Bilateral Relations in Jeddah

JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman hosted Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro in Jeddah, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday. The meeting focused on reviewing bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation across all sectors, as well as addressing matters of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials from both Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.

President Maduro arrived in Jeddah on Monday and was warmly welcomed by Prince Badr bin Sultan, the deputy governor of the Makkah region. During his visit, the Venezuelan leader engaged in discussions with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and his Venezuelan counterpart, Yvan Eduardo Gil Pinto, also in Jeddah on Monday.

Bilateral Cooperation Between Saudi Arabia and Venezuela

The leaders explored opportunities to enhance and advance bilateral cooperation in various areas. They also exchanged views on establishing the groundwork for international peace and security, while contributing to the attainment of global sustainable development goals.

The meeting between the Saudi Crown Prince and the Venezuelan President signifies the importance of fostering stronger ties and expanding collaboration between the two nations.
