Khan Yunis, Palestinian Territories: A medical team from the US-based FAJR Scientific foundation, consisting of 30 specialists in orthopaedic surgery, has travelled to Gaza for a five-day visit. The team includes Palestinian doctors residing in the United States and is set to perform 150 surgeries. Their goal is to transfer the “leading US orthopaedic expertise” to the Gaza Strip by training local physicians.
