NATHIAGALI: A Toyota Hiace van transporting female teachers from Abbottabad to Nathiagali overturned near Barmi Gali on Thursday morning, leaving at least 15 teachers injured. Fortunately, there were no fatalities reported in the incident.
According to sources from Rescue 1122, the passenger van was carrying morning shift female teachers when it overturned along the route. The rescue medical team swiftly responded to the scene, providing initial medical assistance to all injured teachers before transporting them to NathiaGali Hospital. Some teachers with critical injuries were subsequently transferred to Ayub Medical Complex for further treatment.
The exact cause of the van overturning is under investigation. Authorities are working to ensure the well-being and recovery of all affected teachers following this unfortunate incident.
