The saga unfolded through a series of videos and updates, documenting Padgett getting stuck in a decorative urn.

Despite humorous moments and cheers from the crowd, Padgett’s struggles continued, and the situation prompted someone to suggest calling the fire department. Subsequent videos showed the events leading up to the original clip and the aftermath. One clip captured Padgett still trapped in the urn, explaining to friends that the fire department needed to be summoned.

The climax of the saga featured Padgett being rescued as a man carefully broke the urn with a hammer. Throughout the process, two women provided comfort and distraction to Padgett. The videos collectively amassed over 13 million views, generating discussions online about the potential cost of the shattered urn, estimated between $500 and $3,000.

As Padgett emerged pantless from the urn, it was speculated that the decorative vessel was either lost or damaged in the incident. Following his liberation, Padgett was offered a drink and a cigarette, and friends ensured he safely departed the scene in an Uber, marking the end of a unique New Year’s Eve experience.
