Apple Co-founder Hospitalized After Stroke: Report

MEXICO CITY: Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has suffered a “minor” stroke in Mexico, Western media reported on Thursday.

According to ABC News, he has been briefly hospitalized after the minor stroke. It reported that Steve Wozniak has left Mexico for the US.  As per media reports, he was scheduled to speak at the World Business Forum in Mexico City but he was shifted to hospital after the stroke.

Wozniak told the media that he had experienced shakiness and giddiness and found himself unable to move and walk. An MRI scan confirmed that Wozniak had a “minor but actual stroke.

However, there was no immediate comments from him and his team on his latest condition.

He established Apple in 1976 with Steve Jobs, who had died in 2011. Steve Wozniak invented the first Apple computer but efficiently left the firm in the early 1980s. As per some media reports, he had been expected to talk in Mexico regarding his work with Jobs and even the risks of latest technology, including artificial intelligence (AI) and cryptocurrencies.
