LOS ANGELES: Ariana Grande has made a candid revelation about her earlier marriage with Dalton Gomez, confessing to emotional struggles and the need for therapy in her new song.

Breaking her silence on her private life, the 30-year-old singer shared her experiences in the track “Don’t Wanna Break Up Again,” from her latest album Eternal Sunshine. In the song, she sings about crying herself to sleep and feeling neglected by her partner.

The lyrics include: “I fall asleep crying, you turn up the TV. You don’t wanna hear me. Baby, I made it so easy. Spent so much on therapy. With my own codependency. But you didn’t even try.”

Ariana and Dalton separated last year after two years of marriage, finalizing their divorce in October 2023.

The revelation follows accusations of infidelity involving Ariana and her new boyfriend Ethan Slater, both of whom ended their respective marriages in July 2023.

An insider previously shared with US Weekly, “Ariana thinks these songs will provide a lot of insight for her fans. It’s her side of the story regarding Dalton and Ethan.”
