Whipped Cream Ingredients:

1 pack of Dairy Whipping Cream

Yolk Mixture Ingredients:

4 Egg yolks

45 g Caster sugar

50 g Oil

50 g Milk

1 tsp Vanilla essence

90 g All-purpose flour

1/2 tsp Baking powder

1/2 cup Caster sugar (Additional 1/2 cup for egg whites)

1 tsp Vinegar

Soft Sandwich Cake Ingredients:

Egg yolk mixture

Egg white mixture

Whipped cream (as needed)


  1. In a bowl, whip Dairy Whipping Cream until fluffy with stiff peaks.
  2. In another bowl, mix egg yolks thoroughly. Add sugar and whisk until well combined. Add oil, milk, and vanilla essence, and whisk until smooth.
  3. Sift flour and baking powder into the batter and mix it well.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add 1/2 cup of caster sugar and vinegar. Continue beating until stiff peaks form.
  5. Add another 1/2 cup of caster sugar and beat until well incorporated and set aside.
  6. Gently fold half of the egg white mixture into the egg yolk mixture using a spatula. Make a cut in the batter after each clockwise turn while folding.
  7. Add the remaining egg white mixture and repeat the folding process until fully combined.
  8. Transfer the batter to a cake mould and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
  10. Spread a layer of whipped cream over the cake. Place another cake on top and cut the assembled cake into a sandwich shape.
  11. Your Soft Sandwich Cake is now ready to be enjoyed.
