ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has conditionally allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a rally in Islamabad, local media reported on Wednesday. As per details, Chief Justice Islamabad High Court (IHC) Aamer Farooq heard the PTI petition seeking permission for a rally in Islamabad. The IHC directed the district administration to permit Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a rally in Islamabad on March 30.

The Chief Justice has ordered that no unusual conditions should be imposed and only standard Terms of Reference should be followed.

Earlier, the deputy commissioner of Islamabad rejected the application to permit Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) to hold a rally in Islamabad on March 30. The local administration turned down PTI’s plea saying that “in view of the law-and-order situation, rallies cannot be permitted at any venue, including D Chowk.”

Earlier, the PTI announced holding a public rally in the country’s capital city on March 30 against alleged election rigging.
