KARACHI: The 30th death anniversary of renowned television and film actor Mehboob Alam is being observed today (on Monday).
Born on March 14, 1948, Mehboob Alam was recognized for his versatility and distinctive acting style. He gained widespread acclaim for his memorable portrayal of Chaudhry Hashmat Ali in the renowned Pakistan Television drama serial “Waris.”
Additionally, he left a lasting impact with his performances in other notable PTV dramas such as Andhera Ujala, Apnay Log, and Neelay Hath.
Throughout his career, Mehboob Alam appeared in a total of 38 films, comprising 12 Urdu, 15 Punjabi, and 11 Sindhi movies. Tragically, he passed away on this day in 1994 at the age of forty-six in Karachi.
