SUWON, South Korea: Samsung has unveiled a new Galaxy AI feature, which promises to offer several AI-based features to Samsung phone users for an enhanced smartphone experience.

It further confirmed that people will soon see the AI Live Translate Call tool.

The AI Live Translate Call tool, as the name suggests, facilitates real-time translations of both audio and text during phone calls.

Samsung assures users that this feature prioritizes data security and privacy, seamlessly integrating it into the native phone app to eliminate the need for third-party applications. The result is a personalized translation experience for users with the latest Galaxy AI phone, promising a hassle-free way to communicate with individuals speaking different languages.

According to Samsung’s blog post, the integration of AI Live Translate Call into the native call feature ensures a smooth and efficient process without the complexities associated with external applications. Real-time translations will dynamically appear as users engage in conversations, enriching communication with those who speak different languages.

Galaxy AI is set to make its debut early next year, with no specific mention of the Samsung phone that will debut this feature.

However, given the timeline, there is speculation that it might be introduced with the upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup, expected to launch in early January 2024. The recent unveiling of the generative AI model, Gauss, further hints at its influential role in shaping features for Samsung’s forthcoming devices.
