Crunchy Cheesy Peri Peri Bites Recipe

ISLAMABAD: Crunchy & Cheesy Peri Bites are incredibly addictive because they have just the right amount of spice. Get ready to enhance your snacking experience with these delicious Peri Bites, perfect for any kind of gathering.

Ingredients:

Peri Peri Sauce:

  • 1 cup Onion cubes
  • 5-6 Red whole chillies
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Chilli sauce

Peri Peri Chicken:

  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 300 g Boneless Chicken (small cubes)
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp Paprika powder
  • 1/4 cup Peri peri sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Dairy Cream

Peri Peri Bites:

  • Green chillies (large & deseeded), as needed
  • Peri peri sauce, as needed
  • Peri peri chicken (prepared)
  • Peri peri sauce, as needed
  • Cheddar cheese (shredded), as needed
  • All-purpose flour, as needed
  • Compressed eggs, as needed
  • Bread crumbs, as needed
  • Oil (for frying), as needed

Creamy Dip Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup Dairy Cream
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp Red chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp Paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Directions

  1. Cook the onion, red whole chillies, cloves of garlic, and vinegar in a pan that has been prepared until the vegetables are tender.
  2. To prepare Peri Peri Sauce, transfer the cooked vegetables to a blender, add the chilli sauce and salt, and blend until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add the chicken to hot oil in a skillet and cook it until it turns colour. When the chicken is cooked through, add the soy sauce, chilli sauce, paprika powder, peri-peri sauce, and salt.
  4. To make Peri Peri Chicken, stir in dairy cream and heat for one to two minutes. Put aside.
  5. Cut the green chillies in half, remove the seeds, and stuff the hollows with peri-peri sauce, cooked chicken, and cheddar cheese.
  6. After coating the packed chillies with all-purpose flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs, repeat the process with another coat of beaten eggs and bread crumbs.
  7. Fry the peri-peri bits in deep fat until they are golden brown and crispy.
  8. To make Creamy Dip Sauce, combine dairy cream, mayo, chilli sauce, red chilli flakes, paprika powder, and salt in a bowl.
  9. Serve in the creamy dip sauce and serve the Peri Peri Bites!
